A very windy November day near the North Bay Marina. This ring billed seagull is obeying the Dead Slow sign though not by it's own decision but rather the fact it's facing a 40-50mph westerly wind.
très bonne photo, très amusante, j'espère que la mouette a bien respecter la limitation ;o)) Photo very good, very funny, I hope that the seagull had respect the limitation ;O))

LOL! Very funny! Nice capture.
Hah. You made me laugh.
What a great photo! Serendipity in spades. Big grin on my face, let me tell you.
Thanks for the answers. It never even entered my mind about the lake freezing!
Glad you're enjoying Flat Stanley--I'm having a lot of fun with him.
nice shot
I've never heard of a dead slow speed limit! I like the fall/winter atmosphere of the photo.
Dead slow no wake zone? ROTFL!!!!

Sounds like my commute some days.
You sure have a stormy sea there. Reminds me of parts of the Oregon coast.

Very evocative photo. I can feel the wind.
What a unique sign. I have seen
"no wake" signs before, but never a "Dead Slow" before. Glad the bird is obeying :)
Very impressive shot.
Thank you very much for all your comments.
I'll try to answer to your questions.
I've updated the post of yesterday with infos and links.
Your sky looks the same as ours!

OK, I can read the sign...can the boaters? and obviously the sea gull could read it!
superb shot
Shame on me which thought of twists that Ontario was a state of the USA.
I have to see too much movies of cow boys
;-)
I understand the disappearance of the boats
I can feel the wind and how cold it probably is! Great shot - so much atmosphere. I love this photo. As Mike said ' evocative. '
VERY clever shot. Bravo
