Nipissing University Frosh
Not only is back to school time for the little ones, but students are returning to both Nipissing University and Canadore College.
Here we see some of the Nipissing U Frosh (first year / freshman) being putting through some games by their peers.
I apoligize for the lack of focus on this shot, as I snapped it while passing quickly by the campus.

100 Georges on First Ave W
This is my 100th post and that's why I decided to put this photo of 100 Georges up.
100 Georges is a really great restaurant and bar located at 246 First Ave West. The food and service are excellent and they also have live entertainment.

Future Designs for the Waterfront
Please click on the photo for a more detailed image of the ambitious plan that the Community Waterfront Friends are attempting to achieve for North Bay's Lake Nipissing waterfront.
It's a large endeavour but certainly a worthwhile and beautiful project. This is something that will take quite a few years to achieve but most look forward to seeing this dream achieved.

Ottawa for IOS
I'm on holidays & in an area that has no telephone service (including cell phones) or internt service so I won't be responding to any comments until later this week when I get back. But I have arranged for posts to be uploaded.
Yesterday was Theme Day and it was about street signs and such so I figured why not post a couple more today. If you are driving from the south and change your mind about visiting North Bay, you can turn east and head to Ottawa along Highway 17 (a Trans Canada Highway).
I actually have posted this for JoAnn from the Netherlands whose dog IOS has been having a tough time as of late.
And the below photo shows how far it is from North Bay to Ottawa. The distance listed is in kilometres.
