Jack Garland Airport - City of North Bay

This photo was taken a few weeks ago when I went for a little plane ride around North Bay. The Jack Garland Airport was named in memory of Jack Garland, a longtime Member of Parliament for North Bay's Nipissing electoral district.

Those of you who may be worried that you can't land your personal Airbus needed worry as there is a 10,000 foot runway for your use.

Thank you for visiting Rangers and my blog.Ranger is not sure if 10,000 feet of runway is enough to land his plane or not HA HA. Great shot of the seagull and the dead slow sign.

Nice one, once I get an airbus of my own, and money for gas, this will be my first destination!

You must have a plane of your own to think that some of us might also. I'm a little bit unsure of flying in fixed wings but I'd love to tool around in a helicopter. Of course, you don't need a long runway to land one of those.

One of the first times I visited your blog you had a photo of a runaway truck ramp, when we went on our trip to Wenatchee, which is in the center of Washington, I took a series photos thought you might be interested in. They are on my blog if you want to check them out. Lloyd and Ranger
