The Boat - Restaurant on Lake Nipissing
I apoligize for not keeping the photo posts current over the last couple of days but I have been out of town and unavailable to do updates.
I appreciate all the comments and blogger awards that some of you have bestowed upon NorthBayPhoto.
This is another photo taken near the marina. The Boat is a restaurant that is inside the old Chief Commanda. This boat plied the waters of Lake Nipissing from 1947 to 1974. The Chief Commanda was operated by the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission as a service, ferrying freight and people to the Dokis Indian Reserve along the French River (west end of Lake Nipissing).
