I've a difficult time placing thing in aerial shots. Turn me around and I can't find my way home. But the photo in your banner is absolutely stunning. That ocean, just as it is ruffled and a bit angry - breathtaking for me.

Our world around us, has a much different view from above. It's as if, there aren't any advertising billboards, and we all know that's not true. It's always neat to see the shape of the lakes and waterways, and patches of fields, neighborhoods, and roads. Patchwork America!

I love to do aerial photography. You get a real sense of how the geography of your area fits together.

Looks like a huge batch of cold water, but everything else is so green. Stunning.

The reflection of the sky and clouds in the lake (or is that the bay?) turned out fabulous.

The plane looks really small for some reason...

It's hard to get clear pics while flying, I don't know how you do it!

I just caught up with your Airplane Ride series. They are nice pics. I love aerial pics - you can see so much and you get a different perspective.

Looking at the first photo, I too thought you are in the pilot's seat (left side). BTW, do you know/remember what aircraft that is?
It looks like a Cessna 172 or a 182.
