Birchaven Cove Park (2nd)
During the summer (July & August) there will be lifeguards on duty at this Trout Lake swimming hole. Since it is still early June, you have to swim at your risk. The water is quite clear and cool. Some of the teens like to swim across to the island (in the background), as well, to the right side of the photo, there are some rocks that the "kids" like to jump off and into the water.
I have tried to smudge the people's faces in the photos to protect their privacy - please let me know if there is still too much detail that might be used to identify people. I try not to include people in the photos but it's hard to take a snapshot of a public swimming beach without getting some people in the photo.

Nice photo of the swimming area. I'm not sure about the posting of peoples faces. I know other people do. Maybe someone else can tell us if it's ok.
it sure looks inviting! =)
Reminds me of a swimming hole near hear we used to swim in 30 years ago. It was an old sand pit, and I guess they dug deep enough that they hit a water aquifer. It was fed by artesian springs. The sun warmed the top of the water and the springs kept anything below a couple feet deep very cold. Good memories, thanks for bringing them back up
Thanks for visiting

And by the way, the part about it's so busy looking out my office window that it must be hard to work -- let's keep that between you and me.
Oh no. You again show us the water. We're looking forward our holiday more and more.
Anyway nice photo.
Looks like a nice place for a swim and a tan. We don't have life guards at our beaches. All photos you take belongs to you, so you should be able to show anyones face. I do that all the time. And whenever I photograph someone up close, I always give them a card with my name, email info and flickr address. For that I use moo mini cards.
