A beautiful shot. I suspect by the lean on the trees it isn't always this calm.

Looks very peaceful and VERY cold.
Merry Christmas!

Berrr ... And it looks like you have wind regularly given the trees all lean to the left. Where I grew up, in the Texas panhandle, we had a predominate wind from the South West and all the trees leaned to the North East.

Best wishes to you in this holiday season, Craig. Nice photograph of this winter scene with its trees.

It's Christmas Day here in Canada, the sky is grey, and the sun is hiding behind the clouds. It's cold and there are remnants of last weeks snowstorm still on the ground, making it a rather muddy white Christmas. But it's a lovely day, and I wish you and your family all the best, and may 2008 be a good year for you.

Beautiful winter pictures! I wonder if those trees were always like that or if they just got mangled in the huge storm we had a year and a half ago... I live just down the road from this beach on the lake, so maybe I'll take some lake pictures myself; it's so pretty here in North Bay, isn't it?
