North Bay Fire Station 3 (Marshall Ave)

The men and women of the North Bay Fire Department's Station 3 are testing out the ladder truck's hose at their station on a Sunday afternoon.

I hope everyone enjoyed all of the City Bloggers' August Theme Day of breakfast. I know I enjoyed viewing the various breakfast delights from around the world.

The large wheeled vehicle in the front of the photo on the left is interesting...what is it?

Good shot, all firemen deserve all the credit they can get as they are so brave.
I liked your breakfast, Dina tells me maple syrup is delicious but you may be surprised to know I've never tasted it!!!

From breakfast to shower - well, almost anyway. It's a sure thing that firemen and firewomen deserve thank you's from each and every one of us, whether we've called for their help or not.

This is a neat shot! I'm also impressed by the large reel they have for the fire hoses.

To answer LavenderLady's question: The large wheeled vehicle is an antique hose cart that would have been pulled by a team of horses.
