    DO you have Irfanview? It's a free photo program and it's very easy to use--you can BATCH resize your photos for blogging to a size that fills the screen but doesn't overflow to much (I use 567 pixels, in height, but that's maybe a little big unless I really have special details like you did here.)

  3. This made me think of the book title, The Sheltering Sky. Of course, the setting for that book was far far from North Bay. But, it is the same sky the world over.

  4. That's a dramatic sky! I like dark photos a lot and should try and photograph more nature, but I'm such an urban freak...
